At Orthostyle Calgary we use the iTero 3D scanner to take a complete digital impression of your smile, used to create your custom Invisalign aligners.
WHAT IS THE ITERO IMPRESSION SCANNER?
The iTero Impression Scanner takes highly accurate, 3D impressions of your bite. It allows us to adjust your treatment in real time, store data digitally, and show you how your results will look by the end of treatment.
THE ITERO PROCESS
Using our specialized digital scanner, we take a complete 3D scan of your mouth.
We project this image for you on the iTero screen to show you what your smile currently looks like from all angles.
We then use iTero’s Smile Simulation Technology to show you a complete 3D rendering of what your smile could look like following treatment.
We also use your scans to can create your custom aligners.
